فِي الصَّفِّ
In the classroom
هِيَ فَاطِمَةُ
She is Fatima
هِيَ مُعَلِّمَتِيْ
She is my teacher
فَاطِمَةُ تَكْتُبُ الدَّرْسَ
Fatimah writes a lesson
هَذَا أَحْمَدُ
This is Ahmad
أَحْمَدُ صَدِيْقِيْ
Ahmad is my friend
أَحْمَدُ يَكْتُبُ الدَّرْسَ
Ahmad writes a lesson
أَبْرِي الْقَلَمَ ثُمَّ أَكْتُبُ الدَّرْسَ
I sharpen the pencil then I write the lesson
نَقْرَأُ الدَّرْسَ ثُمَّ نُجِيبُ عَنِ الأَسْئِلَةِ
We read the lesson then we answer the questions
Words explanation
1. Classroom in Arabic => صَفٌّ
Synonym of صَفٌّ is => فَصْلٌ
2. Male teacher in Arabic => مُعَلِّمٌ
For female, we must put ة (ta marbuta) at the end of the word, so female teacher in Arabic is مُعَلِّمَةٌ
Synonym of مُعَلِّمٌ are => مُدَرِّسٌ, مُرَبٍّ , مُؤَدِّبٌ, أُسْتَاذٌ
مُعَلِّمَتِيْ means my female teacher.
3. تَكْتُبُ in English => She writes/She is writing
He writes / He is writing in Arabic is => يَكْتُبُ
يَكْتُبُ is fi'il mudari (المضارع ), fi'il madi (الماضي ) for كَتَبَ is => كَتَبَ
تَكْتُبُ is fi'il mudari, fi'l madi for تَكْتُبُ is => كَتَبَتْ
4. دَرْسٌ in English is => lesson; learning
5. Friend in Arabic is => صَدِيقٌ
Another words (synonym of صَدِيقٌ ) are : خَلِيلٌ, رَفِيقٌ, زَمِيلٌ, صَاحِبٌ
صَدِيْقِيْ means my friend.
صَدِيقَةٌ (with ta marbuta at the end) means female friend.
6. أَبْرِي is a verb (fi'l mudari) which means sharpen or whittle
أَبْرِي in Arabic is => I sharpen / I am sharpening
أَبْرِي is fi'il mudari, fi'l madi for أَبْرِي is => بَرَيْتُ
The basic form (reference) is he sharpens.
He sharpens / he is sharpening in Arabic is => يَبْرِي
Fi'il madi for يَبْرِي is => بَرَى
7. قَلَمٌ = pen
pencil in Arabic => مِرْسَمٌ , قَلَمُ رَصَاصٍ
قَلَمٌ at the above story means pencil
8. ثُمَّ means then/after that/afterwards/next
9. أَكْتُبُ in English => I write / I'm writing.

10. نَقْرَأُ means => we read / we are reading
نَقْرَأُ is fi'l mudari, fi'il madhi for نَقْرَأُ is => قَرَأْنَا
The basic form (reference) of this verb is => قَرَأَ which means he read
Fi'il mudari for قَرَأَ is => يَقْرَأُ
يَقْرَأُ means he reads / he is reading
11. نُجِيبُ in English is => we answer / we are answering
نُجِيبُ is fi'l mudari, fi'il madhi for نُجِيبُ is => أَجَبْنَا
أَجَبْنَا means we answered.
The basic form of this verb is => أَجَابَ
أَجَابَ is fi'il madi which means he answered.
fi'il mudari for أَجَابَ is => يُجِيبُ
يُجِيبُ means he is answering/ he answers.
12. أَسْئِلَةٌ in English is => questions
أَسْئِلَةٌ is plural form, singular form of أَسْئِلَةٌ is => سُؤَالٌ
سُؤَالٌ means question.
