Arabic short story - The breakfast

Let's learning Arabic through a short story. By reading this story, you will get more Arabic vocabulary. Why? Because I will show you the translation.
Besides the translation of each sentence, I will show you word by word translation and explanation. So, you will more understand each Arabic words, in shaa Allah.
الفَطُورُ
أَجْلِسُ فِي غُرْفَةِ الأَكْلِ قَبْلَ تَنَاوُلِ الْفَطُورِ
ثُمَّ أَغْسِلُ يَدَيَّ أَوَّلاً
ثُمَّ آخُذُ صَحْنًا وَمِلْعَقَةً وَشَوْكَةً
أَقُوْلُ "بِسْمِ اللّهِ" قَبْلَ الأَكْلِ
بَعْدَ ذَالِكَ أَتَنَاوَلُ الرُّزَّ مَعَ الْبَيْضِ
بَعْدَ ذَالِكَ أَشْرَبُ كُوبًا مِنَ الحَلِيبِ
بَعْدَ تَنَاوُلِ الْفَطُورِ , أَدْخُلُ السَّيَّارَةَ مَعَ أَبِيْ
ثُمَّ أَذْهَبُ إِلَى المَدْرَسَةِ
The translation of the story
الفَطُورُ = breakfast
أَجْلِسُ فِي غُرْفَةِ الأَكْلِ قَبْلَ تَنَاوُلِ الْفَطُورِ
I sit in the dining room before eating breakfast.
ثُمَّ أَغْسِلُ يَدَيَّ أَوَّلاً
Then, first of all, I wash my hand.
ثُمَّ آخُذُ صَحْنًا وَمِلْعَقَةً وَشَوْكَةً
After that, I take a plate, a spoon, and a fork.
أَقُوْلُ "بِسْمِ اللّهِ" قَبْلَ الأَكْلِ
I say "bismillah/in the name of Allah" before eating.
بَعْدَ ذَالِكَ أَتَنَاوَلُ الرُّزَّ مَعَ الْبَيْضِ
After that, I eat rice with eggs.
بَعْدَ ذَالِكَ أَشْرَبُ كُوبًا مِنَ الحَلِيبِ
Afterward, I drink a cup of milk.
بَعْدَ تَنَاوُلِ الْفَطُورِ , أَدْخُلُ السَّيَّارَةَ مَعَ أَبِيْ
After eating breakfast, I go into the car with my father.
ثُمَّ أَذْهَبُ إِلَى المَدْرَسَةِ
Then I go to school.
Word by word translation with explanation
1. الفَطُورُ means breakfast.
Lunch in Arabic الْغَدَاءُ
Dinner in Arabic العَشَاءُ
2. أَجْلِسُ فِي غُرْفَةِ الأَكْلِ قَبْلَ تَنَاوُلِ الْفَطُورِ
a. أَجْلِسُ means I sit
Based form of أَجْلِسُ is جَلَسَ - يَجْلِسُ
b. فِي means in; at
c. غُرْفَةُ الأَكْلِ means a dining room
We can say غُرْفَةُ الطَّعَامِ also for the dining room (eating room).
d. قَبْلَ means before.
- ظَرْفُ زَمَانٍ مُعْرَبُ يَدُلُّ عَلَى التَّقَدُّمِ فِي الْوَقْتِ
قَبْلَ is adverb of time.
- قَبْلُ ضد بَعْدُ
قَبْلُ is the antonym of بَعْدُ
بَعْدُ means after
e. تَنَاوُلٌ means eating.
تَنَاوُلٌ is maṣdar of تَنَاوَلَ - يَتَنَاوَلُ
تَنَاوَلَ - يَتَنَاوَلُ means eat.
f. الْفَطُورُ means breakfast.
Note: These words become تَنَاوُلِ الْفَطُورِ (not تَنَاوُلٌ الْفَطُورُ ) because they are preceded by قَبْلَ
I discuss the grammar (nahwu) at another lesson. This lesson only focuses on a word by word translation.
3. ثُمَّ أَغْسِلُ يَدَيَّ أَوَّلاً means Then I wash hand first.
a. ثُمَّ means then.
b. أَغْسِلُ means to wash.
The base form of أَغْسِلُ is غَسَلَ - يَغْسِلُ
c. يَدَيَّ is hand (mansub form).
marfu' form of يَدَيَّ is يَدٌ
d. أَوَّلاً means first of all.
4. ثُمَّ آخُذُ صَحْنًا وَمِلْعَقَةً وَشَوْكَةً means After that I take a plate, a spoon, and a fork.
a. ثُمَّ means then; afterward; after that.
b. آخُذُ means take; get; grab
The base verb form of آخُذُ is أَخَذَ - يَأْخُذُ
c. صَحْنٌ means a plate; dish
صَحْنٌ is singular form, the plural form of صَحْنٌ is صُحُونٌ
d. وَ = and
e. مِلْعَقَةٌ means a spoon.
The plural form of مِلْعَقَةٌ is مَلاَعِقُ
f. شَوْكَةٌ means a fork.
5. أَقُوْلُ "بِسْمِ اللّهِ" قَبْلَ الأَكْلِ means I say "in the name of Allah" before eating.
a. أَقُوْلُ means say
The base form of أَقُوْلُ is قَالَ - يَقُولُ
b. بِسْمِ اللّهِ means in the name of Allah.
c. قَبْلَ means before.
d. أَكْلٌ means eating.
أَكْلٌ is maṣdar (verbal noun) of أَكَلَ - يَأْكُلُ
أَكَلَ - يَأْكُلُ means eat
6. بَعْدَ ذَالِكَ أَتَنَاوَلُ الرُّزَّ مَعَ الْبَيْضِ means afterward, I eat rice with the eggs.
a. بَعْدَ ذَالِكَ means after that; next; afterward; then
b. أَتَنَاوَلُ means to eat.
The base form of أَتَنَاوَلُ is تَنَاوَلَ - يَتَنَاوَلُ
c. رُزٌّ means rice.
d. مَعَ means with.
e. بَيْضٌ means eggs.
بَيْضٌ is plural form, the singular form of بَيْضٌ is بَيْضَةٌ
بَيْضَةٌ means an egg.
7. بَعْدَ ذَالِكَ أَشْرَبُ كُوبًا مِنَ الحَلِيبِ means Then I drink a cup of milk.
a. بَعْدَ ذَالِكَ means then; after that.
b. أَشْرَبُ means I drink.
The base form of أَشْرَبُ is شَرِبَ - يَشْرَبُ
c. كُوبٌ means a cup; a glass; a tumbler
d. مِنْ means from; of
e. حَلِيبٌ means milk.
8. بَعْدَ تَنَاوُلِ الْفَطُورِ , أَدْخُلُ السَّيَّارَةَ مَعَ أَبِيْ means After having breakfast, I go into the car with my father.
a. بَعْدَ means after.
b. تَنَاوُلِ الْفَطُورِ means having breakfast; eating breakfast.
c. أَدْخُلُ means enter; go into; go inside
The base form of أَدْخُلُ is دَخَلَ - يَدْخُلُ
