Sentence examples in Arabic and English
1. هَذَا بَيْتٌ كَبِيْرٌ = hadha baitun kabiirun.
The meaning: This is a big house.
2. هَذَا البَيْتُ صَغِيْرٌ = hadha al-baitu saghiirun.
The meaning: This house is small.
3. عِنْدِي وَقْتٌ كَثِيْرٌ = 'indii waqtun kathiirun
The meaning: I have a lot of time.
4. المَنْظَرُ جَمِيْلٌ = al-manzaru jamiilun
The meaning: The view is beautiful.
5. هَذَا الشَّارِعُ طَوِيْلٌ = hadha ash-shaari'u tawiilun.
The meaning: This street is long.
6. هَذَا رَجُلٌ قَصِيْرٌ = hadha rajulun qasiirun.
The meaning: This is a short man.
7. بَيْتِي وَاسِعٌ = baytii waasi'un.
The meaning: My house is large.
8. هَذَا شَارِعٌ ضَيِّقٌ = hadha shaari'un dayyiqun.
The meaning: This is a narrow street.
9. قَرَأْتُ الكِتَابَ الجَدِيْدَ = qara'tu al-kitaaba al-jadiida
The meaning: I read the new book.
10. لِي أَخٌ غَنِيٌّ = lii akhun ghaniyyun
The meaning: I have a rich brother.
